Make sure you're connected to 3G, 4G, or LTE. If your device is connected on 2G/GPRS/EDGE, you can't use calling and data during a call. Turn on VoLTE in device settings. Restart the device. In my area I had the same issue with the Verizon based MintMobile service but had no issues once I switched to the T-Mobile based MintMobile service. Call tech support and let them help! I leave work go back home and the internet is not working. I switch my mobile network connection from lte/cdma to cdma. I was able to connect via 3g.

As the ramp up to 5G continues, AT&T says it will stop providing service to 3G devices by early 2022. AT&T, Verizon giving 3G the heave-ho. AT&T announced the planned 3G phaseout on February 20. “Our 3G network provides services to customers using older handsets and connected devices,” the company said in a regulatory filing. “We are Not having 3g signal issues but curious if 3g cancelled itself after the first 3 months of "free" service. Here is what was wrong: It seems like AT&T has 3G and 4G/LTE sims this problem is with their 3G sim it doesnt work with the new update unless you roll back to 3G APN settings.
